Perseverance is the ability to see things through to the end

Today we have a guest post from Karin Wess. Another valuable piece of food for thought on how you can pull off your project. I can't wait to hear what you have to say!And with that, I'll hand over to Karin:

Do you know the eagerness and enthusiasm you feel when you start something new? A diet, a sports program, new habits, a new project, a hobby?

You're almost unstoppable at the beginning! You're enthusiastic, the first few days go great and you think to yourself "Oh yes - this time it's different. This time I'll keep going. I know for sure that this time I'll stick with it!"

But then, 3 weeks later, all that remains of your initial enthusiasm is a pile of ashes - but unfortunately there's no phoenix...

Why is that? Why does the euphoria so often fade so quickly?

Perseverance is crucial

1. you think this "new thing" MUST be fun.

That's absolutely NONSENS!

Because - if we really want to see something through, if we really want to change something, it's not always just fun. No, sometimes it's annoying, exhausting and takes effort. Change is uncomfortable.

But if you think like a pro, you follow through, give your bastard a name, tick off your to-dos and stick to your goals.
If you really want to be successful in life, you have to see things through to the end.

2. tackle small areas to prove to yourself that you can persevere.

For example, don't just pay part of your bills, pay them all. Plan your exercise program not just for the next week, but for 6 months. Create your new meal plan not just for tomorrow, but for the whole week and shop accordingly.

These are all small - but conscious - decisions. If you can make small decisions and be consistent, you can make big ones too.

3. Don't leave yourself any options.

We always like to postpone, put off, postpone until later if we have the opportunity to do so! If you want to go on vacation and you need a new passport, you can't apply for it AFTER your vacation. You have no other option but to do it beforehand.

4. Be more committed to yourself than to anyone else!

Make a promise to yourself to do things, DO them. Without ifs and buts. Even if it's hard sometimes. I've been there myself. But in the end - when it's done - I'm even prouder of myself for having persevered. And you can do it too!

Every day, life offers us countless opportunities for new growth, exciting adventures and the chance to become exactly what we want. But too rarely do we recognize the silver lining that shows us the many possibilities around us.

You know, most of us are so busy thinking about what we should actually be doing should be doinginstead of thinking about what we fundamentally want to do from the heart. want to do.

No matter what you want to change in your life, you have to Make decisions, get out of your comfort zone, listen to your inner self, apply new techniques and strategies and do it.

This allows you to develop yourself further and discover new perspectives and possibilities.

Many people talk about finally wanting to live their dream and finally be slimmer, healthier, richer, more beautiful, more disciplined, happier,... but only very few actually do it. But YOU are already on your way - day by day.

No matter where you are on your journey, I know one thing for sure:

YOU can achieve anything your heart truly believes in

YOU are in control of your own destiny

YOU can create the life you dream of

And most importantly - you have to keep going, because only YOU have the power to change things.

And now I'd like to know what you think: What inner attitude helps you to persevere? What strategies work for you to keep going and make your plans a reality?
