It definitely makes sense to eat something warming in the morning. This strengthens my core, my "digestive fire", and helps my metabolism to utilize the nutrients well. A warm breakfast is easy to digest and makes my stomach feel good. In addition, a warm breakfast fills you up well and prevents cravings. A hot breakfast is therefore highly recommended, especially for those who want to lose weight.
And as the gut is almost our most important asset for long-term health, our body thanks us for every effort to support the gut.
Ideas for a hot breakfast
Now, of course, the next question is: what do I eat if I'm supposed to eat something warm in the morning?
Possible suggestions from me would be a warm quinoa porridge, gluten-free pancakes or even a tofu scramble. And the internationally renowned gut expert Anita Frauwallner recommends a warm potato soup for breakfast.
Recipe: Breakfast potato soup

Cut a large potato into small cubes and pour 1/4 liter of cold water over them. Cook until the cubes start to fall apart (approx. 15 minutes). Season with salt and caraway/aniseed/herbs (all according to taste) and enjoy warm for breakfast.
Even years of gastritis can be managed quite well if you keep this up for a few months.
