Baked apple dessert - 2 gluten-free recipe ideas

Baked apple is one of my favorite desserts at the moment. The sweetness of the apple and raisins, the slightly tart taste of the maple syrup, the crunchiness of the nuts, the buttery flavor and the warmth of the dish make it a perfect end to a meal.

Baked apple dessert 1: Gluten-free baked apple from the oven

Ingredients for 2 people:

2 medium apples
40g almonds
40g hazelnuts
40g raisins
2 tablespoons melted ghee (clarified butter)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
optional: 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 - 200 degrees.

Cut away the top part of the stem of the apples.

Hollow out the apples with a small kitchen knife. Be careful! Do not damage the lower part of the apple.

Chop the nuts and then mix in a small bowl with the raisins, melted ghee and maple syrup. If you like, you can add cinnamon.

Place the apples on a baking tray lined with baking paper or in a baking dish and fill with the mixture. If the apples are too small and there is not enough room, simply place the rest of the filling next to them.

Bake at 180 - 200 degrees for approx. 20 - 30 minutes until the apples are browned and soft.

Allow the apples to cool briefly before serving. This dessert tastes particularly good warm, so don't wait too long!
