Avocado spread - quick and easy on bread

The avocado spread is a "quick recipe" because it is ready in just a few minutes. It is ideal as a starter (e.g. served with rye crackers or flatbread), or as a side dish, e.g. with fried salmon or a salad.

Ingredients


1 ripe avocado
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt or 1/2 teaspoon vegetable stock powder
if you like: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander

Preparation


Mash the avocado with a fork. Mix well with the lemon juice (this is important so that the avocado spread does not turn brown!) and mix with salt or vegetable stock powder. Please taste the spread and adjust the amount of lemon juice and salt if necessary.

If you like, you can add a tablespoon of chopped fresh coriander. But be careful: many people don't like coriander! So if you have guests, it's better to add the coriander separately or ask beforehand if everyone likes coriander.

As you can see, it's so easy to conjure up a delicious and healthy spread.
