Why things that are important to you are a priority

In addition to nutrition and gut cleansing with probiotics and prebiotics, the topic of gut health and health in general also includes the way you live your day and whether you do things that nourish you and are important to you.
One of the things that nourishes me is my artistic work, i.e. my illustrations, which I do as a hobby. What is it for you? What do you enjoy, what gives you satisfaction and helps you to relax and ground yourself?
And: do you find the time to do it?
Until recently, I mainly painted in the evenings. When everything else was done. And sometimes not at all, because I simply didn't have the energy or time. As a result, I was frustrated because I couldn't fit what I wanted to do for myself into my day.
And so I stayed up late in the evening to paint because I finally had time to do something "for myself", and so I didn't actually get enough sleep to be fit and productive again the next day. Does this sound familiar to you? That you just don't go to bed at night because you still want to have "time for yourself"?



I would like to convey the following points in this episode:
  • Identify what is important to you and what makes you feel good
  • Schedule the things you do for yourself into your daily routine
  • If possible, mornings are a good time to do this, then you won't be frustrated during the day if you run out of time and realize in the evening that you haven't done anything for yourself again
  • My morning activities and how they prepare me to have a good day
  • Why all of this has had a positive impact on my sleep
