What to do about flatulence? (DG149)

You are probably familiar with flatulence from your own experience.

This flatulence is nothing more than air that accumulates in the intestines. At some point, this air has to escape and so everyone regularly excretes such gases. This is also completely normal in small quantities.

If you have flatulence because you have perhaps eaten too much, slept too little or drunk alcohol, then this is certainly not a problem.

However, if you regularly have flatulence, your stomach is constantly bloated or you feel full after every meal, then you should definitely take care of your bowels. There may be various ailments behind the bloating.
