Preparation for colon cleansing is crucial

Because I keep hearing that colon cleansing isn't necessary or that it hasn't worked, this month there will be a four-part mini-series on this topic. In each episode, I'll be talking about a different subtopic of gut cleansing. Today, it's about the importance of preparing for colon cleansing.

Preparation is key

One of the most important things about a successful health measure such as colon cleansing is that you are 100% behind it and are sure that you want to do it.
The key to this ispreparing for the colon cleanse and knowing yourwhy.
If you are planning a colon cleanse, there are probably three different motives:
  1. You have a real health or bowel problem and your distress is so high that you're determined to do something about it. In this case, most people go to the doctor, have tests or a colonoscopy. This mini-series is not aimed at these people.
  2. You are health-conscious and know that the gut is extremely important for your overall health and want to take preventative action to stay healthy in the long term.
  3. You were once like the person described in motif 1 and you went to the doctor. Maybe even to several. And you went through all the tests without getting anywhere. But your suffering is still there or has even increased. You don't need any more motivation.
First of all, I would like to say something about health awareness and the motive of prevention. Prevention is so difficult to grasp. It can be extremely hard to motivate yourself to do it.
And yet, with material things like a home or a car, you certainly do it. You look after things, regularly check that everything is working and take measures to extend their lifespan.

No matter where you are in the year when you listen to this episode, you can still do something now to have a positive impact on your body and your health.
Whether there are phases in life when it is difficult to focus on your health concentrate? Definitely! You fall out, it happens, but the important thing is to get back in.
Because it's the repetition that counts. A healthy lifestyle is a marathon, not a sprint. It's a habit that builds through constant repetition. What's more important than making sure your home, your body, is working so that you can do everything you want in this life? There is nothing more frustrating than a body that slows you down and stops you from enjoying and creating your life.
There are many reasons not to take care of your body, or to take care of it for that very reason. For example, tiredness, pain, too much weight, puffy eyes, itchy skin, insomnia.
Health measures and, above all, preventive measures can be boring, unspectacular, tedious, time-consuming and exhausting. But they are worth it! Always.
