Health benefits of alkaline fasting: from better digestion to cellular health
Fasting is something that scares many people because they are afraid of getting extremely hungry. However, the benefits of fasting are huge, so if you suffer from bloating, fatigue, susceptibility to infections or migraines, for example, then you should listen up now. In this episode, I'll tell you more about fasting and especially about the special form of alkaline fasting.
Alkaline fasting
What we call a "normal" diet usually brings too much acid into the body.

- In the joints (rheumatism, arthrosis)
- The metabolism is stressed, which can lead to migraines, for example

During fasting, the body activates a self-cleaning process called autophagy, in which damaged cells and proteins are broken down and recycled. This can help prevent diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's.

Fasting can increase the production of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), a protein that supports brain health and neuronal function. It may also reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases.

Fasting gives the digestive system a break, which can help improve gut health and recover gut flora.
Improved hormone regulation
Fasting can influence the production and regulation of hormones such as human growth hormone (HGH), which is important for muscle building, fat loss and general health.
Longer lifespan
Due to all the benefits mentioned, it can also be assumed that fasting can extend lifespan. In addition to the health benefits mentioned, this could also be due to improved cellular health.

How does alkaline fasting work?
An alkaline fasting cure at home is a good introduction to the world of fasting and also a great way to stay on the subject after a fasting cure in a health resort. In addition, not everyone has the time or the financial means to go to a specialized hotel for an on-site fasting cure. That's why we have created this online alkaline fasting course!
We start on Thursday, October 10 at 20:00 with the kick-off / preparation call. We will explain to you what you can eat during the alkaline fasting week and how you can best prepare yourself. Then you have one week to get everything you want to have at home (especially fresh fruit and vegetables, possibly a massage appointment or an alkaline bath).
On October 17th at 8 pm is the second live call, where you can ask all your questions about the upcoming alkaline fasting week. The start of the alkaline fasting cure is on Friday, October 18.
On October 24 at 8 pm is call number 3, then we will discuss the build-up diet and you can ask questions again. During the 14 days of the alkaline fasting cure you can also ask questions in our community / WhatsApp group.
