  • Why tongue posture is so important for jaw, breathing and posture
  • How mouth breathing and nasal congestion can be linked to tension, headaches or even digestive problems
  • Why the FaceFormer can bring about amazing changes in children and adults
  • What role the vagus nerve plays and how to activate it
  • Practical tips from Lena on how you can integrate the training into your everyday life

Guest: pain coach Lena Koopmann

I'm talking to Lena Koopmann. She works with posturology and faceformer therapy, supports adults, children and young people with functional disorders - and consistently focuses on causes rather than symptoms. This fits in perfectly with my philosophy of educating and encouraging people to question.

The Faceformer - small tool, big effect

You may already be familiar with the Faceformer from previous episodes: a small, inexpensive training device that is placed between the lips and in front of the teeth. You can use it to train head and tongue posture, correct swallowing and nasal breathing. In conversation Lena explains how she came across it herself, the changes her clients experience and why this tool often does more than you think.

Practice: a few minutes a day

My tip: order your own Faceformer and start practicing. You will only feel the effect when you do it - and just a few minutes a day can make a big difference, whether in your breathing, posture or jaw. Let us know what changes you notice!
