Why a few psyllium seeds or a probiotic are not enough


Sometimes people look at me the wrong way when I say that mindset should be a topic for gut health at all. My only bad review on the podcast was that she or he thought the podcast was too esoteric. And that's exactly it: the topic of mindset is often dismissed as "esoteric", which always makes me smile. I think that many people misunderstand the word esoteric. But then again, that's a whole different kettle of fish, which I'd rather not open today.



Basically, today I'd just like to do a relatively short episode on the topic of holistic intestinal cleansing, as we define it at Arktis BioPharma Switzerland. And give 1 example per category.

I have provided some information on each of the 4 components and will also give you a short summary here:

Nutrition: You can't do it without it! Although I would also include supplements such as probiotics, psyllium or glutamine in your diet, they do not replace what you eat every day!

Exercise: not too much, not too little! Exercise to a greater extent can also lead to leaky gut. I'll explain why in this episode.

Lifestyle: In my opinion, your lifestyle (whether you feel comfortable in your life, how you live) and how you deal with stress are particularly important for your gut health.

Mindset: I talked about this in the last episode and gave you a great exercise to get in touch with your future self. In the context of gut health, I would simply like to emphasize again that your thoughts create your reality and that your behavior, your actions or inactions in particular depend directly on the quality of your thoughts. Everything stands or falls on this. In this respect, I would even place the topic of mindset at the beginning of a gut cleanse.
