Interview with Lena Schwind from Lenatura

Lena herself became very ill due to stress and painfully realized that perfect nutrition and exercise unfortunately don't always prevent illness. Nourishing not only the body but also the soul now has a firm place in her life and at Lenatura.
Lena was already a guest here on the podcast in October 2018, in episode no. 8!
Back then, we mainly talked about how she found her calling and her heart project through her own illness.
So if you would like to find out more about Lena's career and the topic of irritable bowel syndrome and stress management, then I recommend episode 8. I am happy to link to it in the episode notes, or you can simply go to www.arktisbiopharma.ch/008

Ayurveda for the gut: a holistic approach to your health

Today I would like to talk to Lena about Ayurveda and the gut.
In this episode, she explains why Ayurveda is such a good tool for tackling intestinal problems, because it is a very holistic system and also takes into account the subtle energies and not just physical symptoms.
Ayurveda always brings us back to our center by giving us a better understanding of what our basic constitution is and how we can bring it back into balance if there are deviations.
However, Lena also incorporates Western science into her consultations; Western diagnostics are an important tool for her to be able to support her clients well.

What we talk about in this conversation

Among other things, the conversation is about
  • different Ayurveda types
  • the digestive fire Agni
  • the main causes of intestinal problems
  • the importance of thoughts and beliefs and working with the subconscious mind
  • Lena's book "Ayurveda for the gut"

I was pleased that Lena actually sees similar main causes for the many intestinal problems we have today and especially that she also sees stress as a cause at the top of the list.
