In this episode, I interview Verena Faßbender. She is a holistic rheumatism coach.
Among other things, we talk about:

I know Verena personally because we've met a few times in Mallorca, where she lives and works with her partner Bruno.
I've noticed her on Instagram as a cheerful, intelligent and encouraging young woman and I'm delighted to be able to introduce her to you today.
Verena is a holistic rheumatism coach and uses her self-developed concept to work on the mental blockages that cause her clients' current symptoms. Her method includes elements of coaching, energy work, nutrition and exercise. In our interview, she tells us how she freed herself from her rheumatic symptoms after her first path via medication led to a dead end.
I hope you enjoy this very inspiring interview!
Verena was 12 when her symptoms started. She and her friends had been to a carol singing event the day before. On the way home, she noticed that she had problems walking and that her feet hurt. The next day, the big shock: she could no longer move and everything hurt. She thought she was paralyzed.
At the hospital, they didn't know exactly what was wrong with her at first. But after a few examinations, she was put on medication and was able to live with her illness.
However, the medication became stronger and stronger and had less and less effect. Until, at the age of 18, her father gave her the good advice to change her diet.
She felt better after just 14 days.
So the diet was the first step towards starting a new life.
Verena writes herself: "My A-levels already focused on pathology and anatomy, and rheumatism was a semester topic. But it was clear to me that I would never want to study medicine, I already had too much specialist knowledge to be an MFA. So I took a completely different path to begin with. My own physical condition, which was getting worse and worse, then led me to take a closer look at the subject of nutrition and I completed a number of training courses, including as a specialist consultant for nutritional medicine. I quickly realized that nutrition was very helpful, but not when I was in a stressful situation. Or whenever I was dealing with rheumatism in general, I immediately had a flare-up. That's why, for example, I didn't want to have anything to do with the subject at the time and didn't want to start my own business in this area. However, I got behind it and worked very hard on the real causes at the subconscious level. This took quite some time and I finally developed my own concept after successfully implementing it myself. How can you How do I work with my clients? I work on the morphology of people and can deduce from this which past experiences are decisive for the current symptoms and which mental blockages are behind the physical symptoms. My work is therefore completely holistic, through mental work in which we dissolve the blockages behind rheumatism step by step, through nutritional medicine and in my offline work I also incorporate the topic of energy work, in which my partner and I have also developed our own concept. (Jikiden Reiki training at the end of 2016)
In this interview, Verena explains how certain experiences from childhood promote the development of autoimmune diseases or rheumatism because these physical symptoms subconsciously provided a hidden advantage for that person at a certain time/situation. In her coaching sessions, she works with her coachees to ensure that our subconscious mind recognizes that we are no longer in danger and no longer need this protective function in the form of an illness. They do this in parallel by working out how the coachee can achieve these hidden benefits without physical warfare. This makes it easier for the subconscious to get started, stay motivated and let go of physical symptoms. As a result, Verena's clients achieve more and more physical and mental health and gradually realize the beauty of their own personality and become more and more themselves, having shed some protective functions bit by bit.
Verena's first online coaching program:
This is a group program with 5 participants. The special thing about it is that the participants receive personal support from Verena, both individually and as a group. The aim is to work on certain tasks together as a group, exchange ideas, motivate each other and grow together as a community. However, as everyone has their own individual rheumatism story, all participants also receive additional individual support from Verena. The crowning glory after 7 weeks is that the participants meet in person for a joint final event! Here is the link for the online coaching program: https://bit.ly/2zLXuFA
If you prefer to work with Verena purely offline, she offers coaching packages in a 4-pack, which also include energy work. In Germany this is only possible on fixed dates and locations such as Lüdenscheid from December 8-12 and in the Hanover region from December 13-20 or otherwise in Palma de Mallorca. If you are interested or would like to book a gift voucher, you can do so via my contact form at www.verenafassbender.com.

So that was our interview.
I hope Verena's story has given you courage that there are other ways besides "coming to terms with your illness". Stories like this always encourage me in my work, because I am convinced that chronic complaints in particular are best approached from as many angles as possible.
And her self-developed method is definitely an impressive example.
