Combating hair loss - Interview with Maria Rivera about holistic hair growth strategies (DG251)

Maria Rivera explains the link between gut health and hair health

In this episode, at the suggestion of a podcast listener, I discuss a topic that at first seems like it doesn't really have anything to do with gut health - hair loss. But you'll be surprised to hear how many things are connected to gut health!
Hair loss or very thin or even unhealthy hair is something you suffer a lot from. Hair is difficult to hide and in our society it is one of the beauty features that people pay attention to.
And precisely because this is the case, I would like to use this interview to show you what hair loss has to do with gut health and what you can do to improve your hair health.

To do this, I have invited a specialist in the field of hair and holistic health to the podcast, Maria Rivera. Maria is a natural hairdresser, hair growth specialist and also a graduate of our Microbiome and Metabolome Consultant course.
In this interview, she talks about the connection between gut health and hair health. She gives us an assessment of how long it takes for hair togrow back or become stronger. And at the end, she has a practical tip for your scalp and hair that you can implement immediately.
