Biting and swallowing are part of the exercise and take place after about 6 seconds of lip pressure or pulling while the tension is still present.
This applies to the basic exercise as well as the pulling exercises.
In the correct sequence, swallowing is always preceded by a short bite. If this sequence is repeated regularly, an automated rhythm of movement develops over time.
Sequence: First push or pull the lip, then bite down, then swallow. Then relax briefly. During the resting phase, the lips remain closed and the pressure is only released for a few seconds.
The negative pressure is maintained during the entire exercise sequence - a desired training condition that can later be maintained without support.
